Adding ports to an MLT LAG

Add ports to an MLT LAG to add an existing VLAN to a link aggregation configuration.
Prerequisites
• You must log on to the Global Configuration mode in the ACLI.
Procedure steps
1. Adding ports to an MLT LAG by using the following command:
mlt <1-32> member <portlist>

Removing ports from an MLT LAG

Remove ports from an MLT LAG.
Prerequisites
• Before removing a port member from an MLT, you need to first disable the port. This
ensures that the other side will bring its corresponding port member down. This achieves
parity on both sides and avoids traffic disruptions.
• You must log on to the Global configuration mode in the ACLI.
Procedure steps
1. Remove ports from an MLT LAG by using the following command.
Configuration — Link Aggregation, MLT, and SMLT
Variable

Enables NTSTG.
The default value is true.
Specifies a VLAN ID to add to this MLT.
