NOTE:
The Voice Mail Application is optional with the G3s Basic Business
Package (BBP). When a DEFINITY AUDIX system is purchased with a G3s
BBP, the Voice Mail Application Support Option field on the
System-Parameters Customer Option screen must be set to yes. This
activates the Leave Word Calling feature and the Linked Coverage Path
feature. If this field is not set to yes, call the remote support center to have
this field set to yes.

Ports as Stations
In the following procedure, you will administer each of the DEFINITY AUDIX
analog voice ports.
Description
The port slot in which the DEFINITY AUDIX system resides.
The DEFINITY AUDIX system occupies two port slots (one slot
if installed in Slot 6 of a ProLogix carrier). There are restrictions
on how far to the left the DEFINITY AUDIX system can be
placed in the carrier. Refer to
restrictions.
Enter the circuit pack identification code for the second slot of
the DEFINITY AUDIX system.
TN746 for G3V2-V4, R5, and R6
TN568 for G3R7 or greater switches
The switch populates the remaining information, if any, for the
first slot.
Leave this field blank.
AUDIX BOARD appears in the second slot for G3V2/G3V3.
MFB appears in the second slot for G3V4/R5 or greater.
In the first slot, RESERVED-CL (G3V2/V3) or
RESERVED-AUDIX-16A (G3V4/R5 or greater) appears.
