a. Select the proper vacuum cover for the installed insert.

CAUTION
It is important to use the correct vacuum cover for the pin installed insert. Otherwise, pins will not
be washed properly and samples may become cross-contaminated.

b. Orient the vacuum cover so that there are two alignment pins forward and one pin
at the back.
c. Put the vacuum cover on the dry station so that the alignment pins (on the cover
