7.2.3 Configuration of the scan data talker map

The scan data talker map is managed in the configuration as shown in
Figure 7-7.
The scan data talker map displays the lower 8 bits of the sending station
address that is using the corresponding scan data block. Scan Block No.
Sending Station Address contains the address of the sending station using
the scan block.
Scan Block No. Overlapping Source Address contains the address of the
sending station when two or more stations are sending to the scan block.
In the scan data talker map, the address of the sending station is set when
sending to the block is detected. The sending station information
remains set until it is cleared to zero.
The scan data talker map indicates whether the block has detected
sending one or more times after the scan data talker map is cleared to
zero.
Note
• When clearing the scan data talker map to zero, be careful not to clear other areas by
mistake.
If no sending is detected after the scan data talker map is cleared to zero,
the sending station address and overlapping source address remain zero.
If there is only one station sending to the block, the sending station
address contains the address, and the overlapping source address is zero.
If there are two or more stations sending to the block, the sending station
address and overlapping source address contain the address. In this case,
which station is sending by mistake depends on the user system.
Determine according to the system configuration.
