Chapter 2 Installation and Wiring Connecting the Serial Communication Port (RS-232C) Cable For downloading programs or performing maintenance, the serial communication port (TOOL) can be used to communicate with the tool. Turn off the basic unit. Make sure that it is off by using LED display. Unlock the connector lock in the TC-net 100 cable side connected to the module with your finger, and remove it.
