7 ORDINARY MAINTENANCE
The recommended criteria for routine maintenance of the machine are illustrated, based on the company's experience and on
advice and suggestions received on various occasions from our customers. These criteria are not exhaustive and may be further
integrated also by collaborating with our customers, whom we thank in advance. Good routine maintenance keeps down the
working costs of the machine and allows you to make the most of its potential.

For specific repair or maintenance operations where it may be necessary to lift the machine from the ground or tilt it, it is man-
datory to utilize proper tools, hoist that are appropriate for this purpose.
It is recommended to always apply to authorized dealerships and workshops that are properly equipped. For any replacement
of parts of the machine the customer has to use genuine parts only that are supplied from the manufacturer or their authorized
dealers.
Preliminary warnings
In the event of breakdown, the operator must turn off the power takeoff immediately, take
out the ignition key, get off the tractor to ascertain the extent of the problem, and make any
adjustments to the machine.
WARNING
Before each day's use, follow the procedure:
check the condition and the correct position of the safety guards and shields
check for vibration. Run the machine at full speed (pay the greatest attention during this sight and sound check and ensure
that there is no one in the danger radius of the machine).
Do not operate with the machine in an out of balance or with presence of abnormal noise or vibration. Check the cuttershaft to
ensure an items are properly tightened.
In extremely dusty conditions, it's desiderable to lubrificate more often than every 8 hours.
Before starting any maintenance, the following operations must be performed:
disconnect the power takeoff from the tractor;
switch off the tractor engine, pull the hand brake and remove the ignition key from the dashboard;
lower the flail head to ground level;
always use suitable Personal Protection Equipment (accident-prevention footwear, safety gloves, protective goggles);
take all the accident-prevention precautions contemplated for the type of operation being carried out.
It is good practice to clean the heads of the grease pumps, removing mud or other residue, before using them to inject lubri-
cating grease.
