5.3 Blade change-over speed adjustment
In order to adjust cutting frequency as specified in the machine Maintenance and use manual, adjust the adjustment knob (1)
for the flow control valve (C) that adjusts the flow of oil to the cutter bar.
The recommended oil flow is 50-55 liters/minute.
Switch on the tractor power take-off and check the number of blade change-overs that occur in 60 seconds.
The recommend frequency is 120 change-overs per minute (60 strokes per side) for the TR13 and TR22 and 160 change-
overs (80 strokes per minute) for the TRM18, consequently, if the number measured is higher, screw down the valve knob in
order to reduce the flow of oil sent to the cutter bar. If the frequency measured is lower than the recommended value, loosen
the valve knob.
We recommend performing these adjustment operations always with the machine switched
off with the tractor power take-off disconnected and the tractor starting keys re-moved from
the dashboard. Before using the flow adjustment valve handwheel, make sure that there are
no parts in movement, that the tractor engine is switched off, the power take-off has not been

connected, and the that the keys have been removed from the dashboard.
5.4 Working speed adjustment
Safe working speed depends on terrain condition, grass type to be cut, density, height of cut and the degree of chopping re-
quired.
In any case the optimum speed ranges from 0,5 km/h.
