4.2 Connecting the cutter bar
Any intervention or maintenance on the hydraulic system has to be carried out by duly edu-
cated personnel.
WARNING
4.2.1 Open circuit
Proceed as follows:
■
Completely disconnect the pipe (C) in FIG. 4.2 from the arm,
taking care to close the grommet with a 1/4" G female cap
(D).
■
Raise the cutter bar with the aid of a lift (for the lifting points, see par. 4.1).
■
Bring the cutter bar close to the plate at the end of the arm.
■
Secure the cutter bar with the four screws (1)
■
Stop the engine, engage the break and take off the key.
■
Make sure that there is no pressure in the hydraulic system. Discharge any pressure by using the respective controls.
■
Connect the pipe (A) for the input 'IN' and the pipe (B) for the output 'OUT' as indicated in FIG. 4.3.
■
To disconnect the cutter bar, proceed in inverse order.

Ensure that the hydraulic pipes are correctly fitted, respecting the colour reco-
gnition code and remembering that inverting them causes opposite movements
to those ordered with the controls.
