SCOPE:
The requirements and procedures of this
Specification
apply to
the
testing required to insure proper installation of encoding (altitude
reporting) altimeters installed in all airplanes manufactured by Cessna
at the Cessna Pawnee Division.
The requirements shall not be altered
unless specific approval is given by Engineering.

REQUIRED TEST EQUIPMENT:
a.
IFR ATC-600 Transponder/DME test set with remote antenna.
b.
Code Simulator Assy (Ref. Figure 1)
c.
-1 Cable Assy - ARC (Ref. Figure 2)
4.
PROCEDURE:
4.1 Preparation of System for Testing-
a.
Disconnect reporting altimeter connector
b.
Connect Code Simulator assy (Ref. Figure 1) and -1 cable assy (Ref.
Figure 2) to the altitude reporting system connector.
