INCANDESCENT LIGHTED AUDIO CONTROL PANEL INSTALLATIONS
MODIFICATION NOTES:
Potentiometers to be adjusted to middle at adjustment range.
CAUTION
Note diode dire ction on printed
circuit board. Damage to components or electrical
system may result if improperly installed.
Solder connection
to be made with SN63 solder using soldering wi th maximum tip temperature
of 600°F
4. Clean solder
connections
immediately
after soldering with stiff bristle (non-metallic) brush and
small amounts of
trichlorethane -1, 1, 1 or Methyl Ethyl Keytone using care to avoid removal
of markings on
components.
If an autopilot
is to be installed, items 171, 172, 173 & 17 4 must be installed as above in order to
complete autopilot system.
NOTE
After item 172 has been installe
d and circuit board assembly is
cleaned, punch out indented hole on the surface
of CLARE
RELAYS.
Add 22 GA jumper
wire to solder pads be tween pi ns 7 & 8 only when a 200A or 300A (Type
AF-296B or AF-395A) autopilot is installed (See Detail C).
If the second XMT
R
is to be a SUNAIR (ASB-125) SS B HF XCVR, a 22 GA jumper wire
must be
added to the XMTR SELECTOR SWITCH
as shown
If a DME is to be installed, item 175 (SPKR/PHN SELECTOR SWITCH) muSt be added to the
P/C board.
Adjust Item 147 for 9-Volt ± 1 o n Pin 1 of U1.
