MODIFICATION NOTES:
Potentiometer to be adjusted to middle of adjustment range.

CAUTION
Note diode direction on printed circuit board. Damage to components or electrical
sytem may result if improperly insalled.
3. Solder connection to be made with SN63 solder using soldering iron with maximun tip temp erature
4.
Clean solder connect ions immediately after soldering with stiff bristle (non-metallic) brush and
small amounts
of trichlorethane -1, 1, 1 or Methyl Ethyl Keytone, using care to avoid removal
of markings on components.
If an autopilot is to be installed,
items 102, 103, 104 & 105 must be installed as shown in order to
complete autopilot system.
After item 103 has been installed and circuit board assembly is
cleaned, punch out indented hole on the surface of CLARE
RELAYS.
Add 22 GA jumper wire to solder pads between pins 7 & 8 only when a 200A or 300A (Types
AF-295B or AF-395A) autopilot is installed (See Detail C).
If the second XMTR is to be a SUNAIR (ASB-125) SSB
HF XCVR, a
GA jumper wire must be
added to the XMTR SELECTOR SWITCH as shown.
If a DME is to be installed, item 108 (SPKR/PHN SELE CTOR SWITCH) must be added to the
P/C board.
Potentiometer to be adjusted for maximum volume (Full CCW when adjusted from back of
potentiometer).
