ELECTROLUMINESCENT LIGHTED AUDIO CONTROL PANELS
MODIFICATION NOTE:
1.Potentiometers to be adjusted to middle of adjustment range.
2.
CAUTION Note diode directon on printed circuit board. Damage to components or electrical
system may result if improperly installed.
3. Solder connections to be made with SN63 solder using soldering iron with maximum tip temperature
4.
Clean solder connections immediately afte r soldering with
stiff bristle (non-metallic)
brush and
small amounts of trichlorethane -1, 1, 1 or Methyl Ethyl Keytone,
using care to avoid removal
of markings on components.
5. If an autopilot
is to
be installed, items 171, 172, 173 & 174 must be installed as shown in order to
complete autopilot system.
NOTE
After item 172 has been installed and circuit board
assembly is
cleaned, punch out idented hole on the surface
of CLARE
RELAYS.
6.
Add 22
jumper wire to solder pads between pins 7&8 only when a 200A or 300A (Type
AF-295B or AF-395A) autopilot is installed (See Detail C).
If the second XMTR is to be a SUNAIR (ASB-125) SSB HF XCVR, a 22 GA jumper wire must be
added to the XMTR SELECTOR SWITCH as
shown.
8.If
a DME is to be installed, item 175 (SPKR/PHN SELECTOR SWITCH) must be added to the
P/C board.
