INCANDESCENT LIGHTED AUDIO CONTROL PANEL INSTALLATIONS
MODIFICATION NOTES:
l. Potentiometers to be adjusted to middle of adjustment range.
2.
CAUTION
Note diode direction on printed circuit board. Damage to components or electrical
system may result if improperly installed.
3.
Solder connections to be made with SN63 solder using solderig iron with maximum tip temperature
4.
Clean solder connections
immediatley
after soldering with stiff
bristle (non-metallic) brush and
small amounts of trichlorathane -1, 1, 1 or Methyl Ethyl Keytone, using care to avoid removal
of markings on components.
5.If
an autopilot is to be installed,items 266, 267, 268 & 269
be installed as shown
in order to
complete autopilot system.
NOTE
After item 267 has been installed and circuit board assembly is
cleaned, punch out indented hole on the surface of CLARE
RELAYS.
Add 22 GA jumper wire to solder pads between pins 7 & 8 only when
a
200A or 300A (Types
AF-295B or AF-395A) autopilot is installed(See Detail C).
If the second XMTR is to be a SUNAIR (ASB-125) SSB HF XCVR, a 23 GA jumper wire must be
added to the XMTR SELECTOR SWITCH as shown.
8.
If a DME is to be installed. Item 270 (SPKR/PHN SELECTOR SWITCH) must be added to the
P/C board.
9.
Potentiometer to be adjusted for maximum volume (Full CCW when adjuted from
back
of
potentiometer).
10.
Adjust Item 247 for 9-Volts ±1 on Pin 1 of U1.
