INCANDESCENT LIGHTED AUDIO CONTROL PANEL INSTALLATIONS
MODIFICATION NOTES:
Potentiometers to be adjusted to middle of adjustmen t range.

CAUTION
Note diode direction on printed circuit board. Damage to components or electrical
system may result if improperly installed.
3.
Solder connections to be made with SN83 solder using
soldering iron with maximum tip temperature
of
600°F
.
4.
Clean solder connections
immediately
after soldering with stiff bristle (non-metallic) brush and
small amounts of trichlorethane -1. 1, 1 or Methyl Ethyl Keytone,
using care to avoid removal
of markings on components
If an autopilot is to be installed, items 266, 267, 268
&
269 must be installed as show n order to
complete autopilot system.
NOTE
After item 267 has been installed and circuit board asse mbly is
cleaned, punch out indentd hole on the surface of CLARE
RELAYS.
Add 22 GA Jumper wire to solder pads between pins 7 & 8 only when a 200A or 300A (Types
AF-295B or
-AF.395A) aut opilot is installed (See Detail C).
If the second XMTR is
to
be a
SUNAIR (ASB-125) SSB HF XCVR, a 22 GA jumper wire must be
added to the XMTR SELECTOR SWITCH aS shown.
If a DMe is to be installed, item 270 (SPKR/PHN SELECTOR SWITCH) must be added to the
P/C board
Potentiometer to be adjusted for maximum
volume (Full CCW when adjusted from back of
potentiometer).
