INCANDESCENT LIGHTED AUDIO CONTROL PANEL INSTALLATIONS
MODIFICATION NOTES:
Potentiometers to be adjusted to middle of adjustment rage.

CAUTION
Note
diode direction on printed circuit board. Damage to components
or electrical
system may result if improperly installed.
3.
Solder
connections
to be made with SN63 solder
using
soldering iron with maximum
tip tempe rature
of 600°
F.
4.
Clean solder connections immediately after soldering with stiff bristle (non-metallic) brush and
small amounts of trichlorethane -1, 1, 1 or Methyl Ethyl Keytone, using car
e
to avoid removal
of markings on components.
If an au topilot is to be installed, items 171, 172, 173 & 174 must be installed as shown in order to
complete autopilot system
NOTE
After item 172 has been installed and circuit board assembly is
cleaned, punch out indented hole on the surface of CLARE
RELAYS.
Add 22 GA jumper wire to solder pads between pins 7 & 8 only when a 200A or 300A (Types
AF.295B or AF-395A) autopilot is installed (See Detail C).
If
the second XMTR is to be a SUNAIR (ASB-125)
SKB HF XCVR, a 22 GA
jumper wire must
be
added to the XMTR SELECTOR SWITCH as shown.
If a DME is to be installed, item 175 (SPKR/PHN SELECTOR SWITCH) must be added to the
P/C board.
