MODIFICATION NOTES:
1. Potentiometers to be adjusted
t o mi ddle of
adj ustment range.
2. CAUTION
Note diode direction on printed circuit board. Damage to components or electrical
system may result if improperly isntalled.
3.
Solder connections to be made with SN6S solder using soldering iron with maximum tip temperature
of 600°F .
4.
Clean solder connections immediately after soldering with stiff britsle (non-metallic ) brush and
small amounts of trichlorethane -1, 1, 1 or Me thyl Ethyl Keytone, using care to avoid reward
of marking on components.
If an
au
topilot is to
be installed, items
40, 41, 42 & 43 must be
installed
as
sho wn to
order to
complete autopilot system.
NOTE
After item 41 has been installed and circuit board assembly is
cleaned, punch out indented hole on the surface of CLARE
RELAYS.
6. Add 22 GA jumper wire to solder
pads
between pins 7
&
8 only when a 200A or 300A (Types
AF-295B or Af-395A) autopilot is installed (See Detail C).
7.
If the second XMTR is to be a SUNAIR (ASB-125) S3B HF XCVR, a 22 GA jumper wire must be
added to the XYTR SELECTOR
SWITCH
as shown.
8. IF a DMZ is to be installed,
item 44 (SPKR/PHN SELECTOR SWITCH) must be added to the
P/C board.
