8.1.1 Installation and start of enSuite

If you differ from the factory parameterization, you should change the parameterization before or
during commissioning. This software helps you to fulfill the work. An example of such deviations
is the use of not stored gas properties in the device in verifiaction operation operational calibration
or service calibration. You can download the installation program file from
instromet.com/en/software-downloads
On this page you will find a file with the individual steps of the installation
and the minimum system preconditions.
Perform the installation according to this information on the website. Make sure that the file path does not
contain ä,ü,ö, otherwise it is not possible to transfer files to a device later.
If enSuite is already installed on your computer (parameterization device),
make sure that you have the current version. Also make sure that when
reinstalling, no data will be overwritten. (make a backup beforehand / change
the storage location)
After the installation a reboot is not required and the following link icon appears
on your desktop.
For the non-fiscal operating the PC software enSuite also allows
communication via network interface with the Modbus TCP protocol.
Start enSuite either via the enSuite program symbol
(Elster group of programs). After opening, the interface of the software enSuite appears. At the
top the menu bar appers and the button bar is displayed below.
The rest of the program screen is divided in window panes. Communication is established via this
input and output windows.
