MODUS OPERANDI AND USE (example) :
The patient will be lying on a couch in the supine or prone position, depending on the
treatment to be done. The operator will remain standing close to the area to be treated,
manipulating the corresponding accessory for each treatment and with easy access to
CAPENERGY device
As a general recommendation, before treating a patient and/or defining the treatment
protocol to follow, based on the pathology that has to be treated the operator should be
sure of how to approach the client's pathology and what kind of treatment to apply:
Automatic treatment
Manual treatment with only 1 electrode
Manual treatment with 2 electrodes
Combined (automatic and manual)
The (patented) intelligent connect recognizes all different types of accessories and
identifies them on the screen, including the intracavitary accessory which can be
connected to all of the outputs.
1. Following the chosen approach, the operator will place the passive return plates on
the patient's corresponding body areas, observing the following procedure:
Output 1 – Place the active plate on the treatment area and assure a perfect
contact between the plate and the skin by using the elastic bandages. When
using the automatic plate without the presence of an operator, the safety
control should be connected so the client can stop the treatment whenever he
wants to.
Output 2 – Repeat the previous procedure.
Output 3 – Place the active plate on the area that will receive the return
current and place the manual (capacitive or resistive) electrode on the
treatment area, making sure there is a perfect contact between the passive
plate and the skin and applying vehicle cream to more swiftly move the
electrode throughout the treatment.
Output 4 – Repeat the previous procedure.
2. The next step will be to determine the working mode::
Basic mode (power-driven)
Free treatment (power or temperature-driven)
Guided treatment (By indication / temperature-driven)
Through the menu options, the desired power can be selected (more information in
