Loading Disk on Key, if available
Note:
This Disk on Key procedure assumes that the router currently
Note:
has the factory default settings without a configuration file. If
there is a configuration file, this procedure cannot work.
However, if you want to use a USB disk on key and the router
already has been configured, you can press on the recessed
configuration button for over 5 seconds to delete the
configuration file or login to the router console port and issue
commands to set the router to the factory default settings.
1. If available, insert the Disk on Key (USB memory stick) into the USB port
on the front of the router. The Disk on Key contains the configuration
information. If a Disk on Key is not provided, go to
using the CLI, if you did not use J-Web Quick Configuration
2. Press the power button (see 1 in the appropriate illustration that follows) to
turn on the Juniper Services Router.
