The output activates when the applicable device or devices are in
any alarm state.
The output activates when the applicable device or devices are in
Alert/Aux. Alarm state.
The output activates when the applicable device or devices are in
Prealarm state.
The output activates when the applicable device or devices are in
Fire Alarm state.
The output activates when the applicable device or devices are in
Fire Alarm 2 state.

in any fault state, disabled, or in test mode.

does a system smoke detector require a box or can I mount it with just a ring
