Description
This command enables the context to enable frame-based accounting parameters.
egress-enable

[no] egress-enable

config>qos>frame-based-accounting
Description
When configured this command enables the use of ethernet frame overhead bytes [ IFG (12) + pream-
ble(8) = 20 bytes ] in the egress QoS policies that use the queue scheduling rates and egress-rate. It
enables frame based accounting for both network/access uplink egress queue policies and access
egress policies. It enables frame based accounting for all the queues on the all the ports in the system.
The no form of this command disables the use of ethernet frame overhead bytes.

[no] ingress-enable
Context
config>qos>frame-based-accounting
Description
When configured this command enables the use of ethernet frame overhead bytes [ IFG (12) + pream-
ble (8) = 20 bytes ] for QoS ingress policies that use meters. It enables frame based accounting for ser-
vice ingress policies and for network ingress policies. It enables frame based accounting for all the
meters used in the system.
The no form of this command disables the use of ethernet frame overhead bytes.
