Bluetooth Cordless Hand Scanner (CHS) with the SoMo 650
or SoMo 650Rx handheld computer.
Before you begin the instructions in this chapter, make
sure you have installed the batteries (and tether, if
desired), and charged the scanner, as described in Chapter
2, "Hardware Preparation."

PTIONS
For Windows-based computers, the Socket Bluetooth CHS
offers three different connection options to fit different
work environments.
Scenario
Scenario 1: Single user
with one scanner per
SoMo, no roaming.
Scenario 2: Enterprise
deployment with one
scanner per SoMo, no
roaming.
Scenario 3: Enterprise
deployment with
scanner(s) roaming
between different SoMo
devices.
