SYMPTOM
Connect!Agent software has found multiple Bluetooth CHS devices,
and I don't know which one to choose.
POSSIBLE REASONS
This is your first time using Connect!Agent to
connect to a Bluetooth CHS, and
Connect!Agent has found multiple
Bluetooth CHS devices using the default
name.
Same as above.

SYMPTOM
While scanning with the Bluetooth CHS, I turned off the Pocket PC, or
my Pocket PC entered suspend mode. Now the Bluetooth CHS won't reconnect to
my Pocket PC.
POSSIBLE REASONS
There is a problem with the Widcomm
stack on some Pocket PCs where the
Bluetooth CHS can be discovered but fails
to communicate. Affected units include
the HP iPAQ models h221X with ROM
version 1.10 and h1945.

SYMPTOM
When I try to connect with ActivePairing to a Windows XP or Vista
computer, the Bluetooth software indicates that the Bluetooth CHS has connected,
but when I try to scan data, it does not enter into my application.
POSSIBLE REASONS
Your computer has multiple incoming
Bluetooth serial ports enabled.
SocketScan Is not running.
APPENDIX G: TROUBLESHOOTING
SOLUTION
Turn off the Bluetooth CHS device(s) you
do not want to connect to. Tap Refresh.
Connect!Agent will connect to and save
information about your Bluetooth CHS
to exclusively connect to it in the future.
If you have a Windows XP, Vista or 7
system, you can install SocketScan and
use the Advanced Security Settings to
change the scanner's Bluetooth friendly
name to something you can easily
recognize.
SOLUTION
Soft reset the Pocket PC by pressing the
reset button.
SOLUTION
Use your Bluetooth utility to disable extra
incoming Bluetooth serial ports.
Start SocketScan.
