Installing CAP Ms

Grounding the CAP M

The CAP M must be grounded.
Do not use the grounding bolts to connect an external device.
Connect an earth-bonding cable to the grounding bolt connections on the outside of the CAP M chassis, as

shown below.
Loosen the M6 hex nut(s), and then connect the

earth-bonding cable between the two washers as
shown to the right.
Secure the earth-bonding cable by tightening the

M6hex nut(s) that you loosened in the preceding step.
Connect the other end of the earth-bonding cable to a
4
suitable permanent ground per local electrical code
practices.

page 47.
