Turn off power to 61000.

Turn off power to external power source.

Disconnect ac power cable connected to 61000 input power
connector. Connect plug of dc cable to 61000 input power
connector.

If external power supply is used, turn on its power. If power
supply is adjustable, set output to 12V dc.

Connect dc cable alligator clips to external power source (battery
or power supply). Red leads to positive (+) terminal and black
leads to negative (-) terminal.

Turn on power to the 61000.
