5.4. Click on the
Commands.
Scroll down to Put Time enter the correct date and time. Select the
icon. This will purge the data on the data card in the instrument.

5.5. Close the Internet Explorer program. The instrument is now ready to
begin monitoring using the Encore Series Software.
5.6. Click to open the Windows Start menu, select All Programs. Open the
Encore Series Software program.
Type in admin for User name, and password for Password.
NOTE: Use lowercase characters when entering user name and password.
Click to open the Setup tab. Scroll down to DataNodes folder and select
61000 Power Quality DataNode. Right-click to display the Add Datanode
command. Click to add DataNode1, where a setup can be edited.
5.7. Click to open the Identification and Status sub-tab of DataNode1. Click
on DataNode1 name value field if you want to specify a new name for the
DataNode.
5.8. Next, click to open the Communications sub-tab and enter the designated
IP address followed by "/0", for example 198.168.0.20/0.
5.9. Next, click to open the Polling sub-tab. Click to enable the following
checkboxes: Enable Scheduled Polling, Download and store data, Send
setting to DataNode. If a message appears, select Yes to save changes.
Return to the Communications sub-tab, and click to enable the Active
checkbox. Select Save Setups, a message appears, select Yes to save
changes.
5.10. The instrument set up is complete and is now ready for monitoring. The
Monitoring On LED (middle LED) of the unit should be in a steady state,
indicating that monitoring has been turned on.
