Cleaning compressed air and water paths

Explanation
Compressed air and water paths may be contaminated, e.g. by chips or
filings.
These contaminants must be removed by purging the lines prior to
installation.
Compressed air line
✔
Compressed air must be available (compressor switched on).
➢ Open the compressed air corner valve for 30 seconds.

Water path
✔
A water hose that can be connected to the corner valve of the water

path is required.
✔
A bucket (with a volume of at least 10 liters) is required.
1. Connect the water hose to the corner valve of the water path.
2. Insert the other end of the water hose in the bucket.
3. Open the corner valve.
4. Wait until 10 liters of water have flowed into the bucket.

5. Close the corner valve again.
