5.2 Checking and adjusting the operating pressures of the instruments

1. Connect the high-speed handpiece hose to an instrument
connection, if this has not been done already.
2. Remove the turbine.
3. Screw on the four-way measuring head between the high-speed
handpiece and the hose.
4. Start the high-speed handpiece with the foot control.
5. Use a blade screwdriver to adjust driving air pressure at RD5.
Unscrew the screw no further than up to the level of the plastic collar!
6. Repeat the adjustment for the other holders.

Adjusting the spray air pressure

IMPORTANT
The spray air pressure cannot be adjusted on all treatment centers, as
not every treatment center has a spray air regulator.

1. Connect the four-way measuring head to the turbine hose.
2. Adjust the spray air pressure as required by the customer by turning
the screw (D) with a screwdriver.
3. Check the settings and correct them if necessary.
4. Remove the four-way measuring head.

Air/water factory settings

IMPORTANT
Factory setting
The driving air pressure can be set exactly using the four-way
measuring head (Order No. 36 66 336).
The operating pressures for the instruments are set at the factory.
Adjust the driving air pressure to the manufacturer's specifications for
the high-speed handpiece.
