Performing a system restart or shutdown

Configuration Manager allows you to perform a controlled system restart or
shutdown.
When to perform a restart
You must perform a system restart each time you change the configuration or
upgrade the firmware.
When to perform a shutdown
You must perform a system shutdown when
n
you want to install DSP application or trunk interface modules
n
you need to power down the system for any reason
To perform a system restart
1 From the menu, choose Connect
Result: The System Restart dialog box appears.
2 Click Yes.
