The transmitter Unit Address:
• MODBUS – Range 1 to 254
• Bi-Phase Mark – Range 1 to 99
• Mark/Space – Range 1 to 999
• L&J TankWay – Range 1 to 127
Primary protocol baud rate. Selections are:
1200
2400
4800
9600
19200
38400
Note Bi-Phase Mark only supports 1200/2400.
The direction the encoder turns:
• Forward for Varec 2500
• Reverse for L&J
Mechanical Gauge Type:
• English for 2500 English
• Metric for 2500 Metric
The Encoder Type applies to both the L&J encoder and
the Mark/Space encoders.
The L&J encoders support the following:
• 2000 (Forward Encoding - Varec gauges
• 2000 (Reverse Encoding - Shand & Jurs gauges
• 1000/1500 Type 3 (Reverse Encoding - Shand & Jurs
gauges)
• 1000/1500 Type 4 (Reverse Encoding - Shand & Jurs
gauges)
The Mark/Space encoders support the following:
• 1900
• 1800
• GSI 2000
Level Display Units - How the level is formatted on the
Display , for example, in decimal feet, or feet, inches &
16ths, meters, and so on.
Level Communications Units - How the level data is
formatted before sending the data to the Host system.
Note: This parameter is for BPM devices only.
PT100, Cu90, or Cu100.
How the temperature is formatted on the display, either
F or C.
How the temperature data is sent to the host system.
Note: This parameter is for BPM devices only.
