Quick installation and commissioning flowchart

Identify the frame of your drive: R1...R9.
Plan the installation: select the cables, etc.
Check the ambient conditions, ratings and
required cooling air flow.
Unpack and check the drive.
Check that all necessary optional modules
and equipment are present and correct.
If the drive will be connected to another
system than symmetrically grounded TN-S
system: Check if you must disconnect the
EMC filter or ground-to-phase varistor.
Install the drive on a wall.
Route the cables.
Check the insulation of the input cable and the
motor and the motor cable.
Connect the power cables.
