Contents of this chapter
This chapter describes how to check the insulation of the assembly and the
compatibility with other than symmetrically grounded TN-S systems. It then shows
how to connect the power and control cables, install optional modules and connect a
PC.
Warnings
WARNING! Obey the instructions in chapter
you ignore them, injury or death, or damage to the equipment can occur.
Make sure that the drive is disconnected from the input power during
installation. If the drive is already connected to the input power, wait for
5 minutes after disconnecting the input power.
Required tools
To do the electrical installation, you need the these tools:
• wire stripper
• screwdriver set (Torx, flat and/or Phillips, as appropriate)
• torque wrench.
