TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom
Control lamps do not turn on when the unit
is switched on
activated
power
Water leak between the handpiece cord
and the handpiece
Water leak at the bottle
Cleaning Mode Blinking LED

Solution
Check the connections of the power cable of the unit
Check the fuses and replace them only by the type of fuse indicated on the back of the unit
Send the unit to an approved EMS repair center
Make sure that the bottle is properly installed
Check all the connections
Activate the "Cleaning" mode, disconnect the handpiece from the handpiece cord and check that liquid exits the cord; if it is the
case, the handpiece is plugged, send the handpiece to an approved EMS repair center
Unscrew the pump cover and check that the pump functions
Send the unit to an approved EMS repair center
Make sure that the instrument is correctly tight
Check the wear of the instrument and replace it if necessary
Check the connections between the unit, the handpiece cord and the handpiece
Dry the connectors of the handpiece cord and of the handpiece
Check the connection of the foot pedal
Check the settings and the working mode
Check that when the handpiece is lifted from its support, the control lamps of the bottle holder are turned on; if it is not the case,
send the handpiece to an approved EMS repair center
Replace the handpiece cord and/or the handpiece
When one of the two handpieces is used, check that the other one is correctly seated on its support
Send the unit to an approved EMS repair center
Check the O-ring of the handpiece cord and replace if necessary
Send the handpiece cord to an approved EMS repair center
Send the unit to an approved EMS repair center
Check the O-ring of the bottle cap and replace if necessary
Replace the bottle
Send the unit to an approved EMS repair center
Replace the light guide
Test with another handpiece
Make a cleaning of the unit and follow the instructions under the "cleaning and disinfecting circuit" section
