7.2 Defects and possible causes

Defect
Catrax Plus will not

turn on
Catrax Plus is

locked
Catrax Plus does

not activate the
electromagnet
(turnstile cannot be
locked).
The arm does not

Possible causes
· The power supply' input cable is not connected
properly;
· The circuit breaker is off.
· Optical sensors obstructed or defective.
· The cable is broken or the distance between the
electromagnet and the locking device is
maladjusted.
· There is wear, dirt, a broken sprong or lack of
lubrication in the sphere base
· The distance between the electromagnet and the
locking device is maladjusted.
Action
· Check the cables and the fuse.
· Perform the preventive routine
maintenance on the sensor or
formward the equipment to the
Technical Assistance.
· Adjust the electromagnet or
fordward the equipament to the
Technical Asistance.
· Request a replace ment for the
faulty part of forward the
equipament to the Technical
Assistance.
· Adjust the electromagnet or
forward the equipament to the
Technical Assistance.
