Sensor and magnet alignment and spacing
The spacing and alignment is critical.
Gap must not exceed

To install the sensor and magnet

Remove the sensor from its packaging and place it under a strong light to charge it.
IMPORTANT Although we recommend mounting the sensor and magnet with screws, you should leave
the adhesive foam strips on the back of them if you are mounting them on metal surfaces. The foam backing
will add space to reduce signal absorption by the metal.

Mount the sensor on the door or window frame as follows:
a) Lift up on the tab with your index finger as you slide the back mounting plate towards the tab with your
thumb. Slide the mounting plate until it stops.
