Restoring Default Settings

A reset is necessary in order to restore set items to default settings.
• The resume function is cancelled when a reset is performed. Finish height difference measurement
and reticle adjustment before performing a reset.
• Restoring set items to default settings will not erase stored data. However, if the data in the memory
is important, BE SURE TO BACK UP STORED DATA TO AN EXTERNAL MEMORY DEVICE OR
COMPUTER IN ADVANCE.
• If a JOB contains a route, "Rec cond." in "Obs. condition", "Temp" and "Dist unit" settings will not be
reset even when a reset is performed.
PROCEDURE Performing a reset
1. Turn the instrument off.
2. Press {
} while holding {BS}, and {F4} until
the TOPCON logo appears.
"Default set" is displayed and the instrument is
reset.
3. Power the instrument on as normal.
