5.5 Activating a Mechanical Emergency Release

There are two types of mechanical emergency release —
primary and secondary.

5.5.1 Primary Emergency Release

1. Insert a pen into the hole labeled Emergency Up A or
Emergency Down B on the control box C.
Pen must remain in position within the hole for the
Emergency Release to function. Removal of the pen
will stop the lowering process.
