INSTALLATION
The IP‐DECT Server 400 (single‐cell and multi‐cell), IP‐DECT Base Stations and 2/4 Channel DECT Repeaters
are all housed in the same type of enclosure and have the same fixing centres.
Ethernet/Power Port
All DECT radio parts should be mounted vertically on the wall at least 2.4 metres above floor level but no
higher than 6 metres.
They will normally be fitted with the Ethernet/Power Port at the bottom; however, they can be inverted
with the Ethernet/Power Port at the top if desired.
Do not fix flush on the ceiling as this will affect signal propagation.
The keyhole fixing slots on the back of all units are 64mm apart, fixing screws and wall plugs are provided.
You can find a fixing template on the centre pages of the product information booklet in the box.
Refer to the Spectralink IP‐DECT Server 400/6500 installation & configuration guide and IP‐DECT
