6. Waveform measurement

Click the [Waveform] tab to bring up the following screen where you can set various parameters. Click [Measure] to start
measurement. The flicker measurement values and other measurement results will be displayed in a waveform graph and
power spectrum graph.

 Set Waveform sampling conditions according to Sync Mode
:
 Sampling Number
:
 Decimation Interval
:
The measurement time is defined as follows.
Measurement time = Flicker measurement speed × Sampling number × Decimation interval
The possible range of calculating the flicker value differs depending on the measurement time while adhering to the
following.
(1 / measurement time) to 200 Hz
 Weighting Factor
:
• No filter will be applied if "None" is selected. The graph will display original data only.
• When "JEITA" is selected, a filter adjusted to the frequency response characteristics of the human eye is used.
• When "LowPass" is selected, the user can set the LowPass filter to between 0 to 1500.
• When "User" is selected, the user can load a custom filter to be used for measurement from the [Weighting Factor] tab
in the [Settings] tab.
The data will be displayed as weighted data with the filter applied. Users can select to display the graph using the check
box in the graph display settings.
 Sensor
:
Measurement results such as flicker measurement values and Power Spectrum graph data are subject to a filter and
considered Weighted Data.
(Also refer to "1. Measurement condition settings <Setting> tab")
When checked, sampling will be performed according to the input Sync Mode (refer to
page 54). As such, configuration of Sampling Number or Decimation Interval will not be
possible.
Sets the number of measurements to perform.
Sets the number of intervals for measurement.
Sets a filter for the measured value. (None/JEITA/ LowPass/User)
Sets the sensor when "XYZ (Wide Frequency Mode)" is selected for the flicker measurement
operation mode. (X/Y(Lv)/Z)
When "Flicker (CA-310 Mode)" is selected, only sensor Y can be used.
