Reviewing the initial health scan
The system conducts the initial health scan to make sure that the system is healthy and can be
configured. The initial health scan verifies the health of the storage system, storage controllers, drives,
and version compatibility.
If there are any degraded or failed components, correct these items before configuring the system.
Depending upon the issue, you may have to resolve it before continuing. Information about how to
address issues is provided in the details for each item listed.
Procedure
1. Verify the status of the scan by reviewing the table of items scanned.
The Scan column displays one of the listed icons:
•
A round, green icon signifies that the component is healthy
•
A triangular, yellow icon signifies a warning
•
A diamond-shaped, red icon signifies that there is a problem with the component
2. Review the Scan, which describes the type of check that was done on the component.
