HPE recommends using the Maintenance Window functionality within the HPE InfoSight portal to inform HPE Support of upcoming maintenance windows. Go to HPE InfoSight > HPE Alletra 6000, Alletra 5000, Nimble Storage > Wellness > Manage Maintenance Windows for more information. - Page 4 2 PCIe cage b For HPE Alletra 5010 or Nimble Storage AF20 and HF20 models: Grasp both sides of the PCIe cage and lift the cage out of the controller, making sure that the cage clears the guide pins and that both riser cards and the bridge board connector are properly unseated.

If clips are installed, it is recommended to secure retention clips around the power cord to avoid accidental power cord removal or displacement.

If you are installing a quad port 10Gbps SFP+ NIC card, you must remove the transceiver from port 1 before attempting to install the card.
