Hotkey Operation

Overview

In addition to the OSD, the CS1708i / CS1716i also supports port control and
configuration options directly from the keyboard with the use of hotkey
combinations.
Note: To use this function Hotkey Command Mode must be enabled.

Hotkey port control allows you to provide KVM focus to a particular computer
directly from the keyboard. The CS1708i / CS1716i provides the following
Hotkey Port Control features:
 Selecting the Active Port
 Auto Scanning
 Skip Mode Switching
The following hotkey configuration operations can also be performed:
 Keyboard and Mouse Resets
 Setting the Beeper
 Toggling the Hotkey Invocation Keys
 Toggling the OSD Hotkey
 Setting the Port Operating System
 Restoring the OSD Default Values
