Hardware Installation

1. Connect up to 4 video/audio sources to the VGA/audio Input ports.
2. Connect up to 4 display/audio devices to the VGA/audio Output ports.
3. (Optional) Connect the IR Receiver into the External IR Receiver Input Port.
4. Plug the power adapter cable into the power jack on the VM0404.
5. To connect a RS-232 Controller (such as a PC), use a serial cable to connect the RS-232 device to the VM0404's RS-232 port.

NOTE: IR Receiver cable (2XRT-0003G)and IR Remote Control (2XRT-0106G) sold separately.

Operation

The VM0404 can be confi gured and operated via the front panel pushbuttons by connecting an RS-232 Serial controller.

Front Panel Operations

Pressing a port selection pushbutton cycles through the four VGA input sources (Source 1, 2, 3, or 4) to be displayed on the display device attached to the corresponding output port (Display 1,2,3 or 4).

RS-232 Serial Interface

The VM0404's built-in bi-directional RS-232 serial interface allows system control through a high-end controller, PC, and/or home automation / home theater software package.
