To allow authentication and authorization for the CS1708i / CS1716i via
LDAP / LDAPS, refer to the information in the table, below:

On the LDAP / LDAPS server, Users can be authenticated with the following
method:
 With MS Active Directory schema.

CC Management

To allow authorization for the CS1708i / CS1716i through a CC (Control
Center) server, check Enable and fill in the CC Server's IP address and Service
port (default: 8000) in the appropriate fields. You can use the IPv4 address, the
IPv6 address or the domain name in the CC Server IP field.
Put a check in the Enable checkbox to allow LDAP / LDAPS
authentication and authorization.
Click a radio button to specify whether to use LDAP or LDAPS.
Fill in the IP address and port number for the LDAP or LDAPS
server.
You can use the IPv4 address, the IPv6 address or the
domain name in the LDAP Server field.
For LDAP, the default port number is 389; for LDAPS, the
default port number is 636.
Set the time in seconds that the CS1708i / CS1716i waits for an
LDAP or LDAPS server reply before it times out.
Consult the LDAP / LDAPS administrator to ascertain the
appropriate entry for this field. For example, the entry might
look like this:
ou=cs1708i,dc=aten,dc=com
Key in the LDAP administrator's username.
Key in the LDAP administrator's password.
Set the distinguished name of the search base. This is the
domain name where the search starts for user names.
