6.2 Touch Probe Positioning

The target position is calculated relative to the actual
position, after the touch probe input is activated.
Similar configuration like relative/absolute positioning, but:
Parameter 19-28 Index Trajectory Type must be either
positive (2) or negative (3)
By using quick bus: PCD[1].13 (positive) / PCD[1].14
(negative) Parameter 19-03 Touch Probe Delay in ms.

6.3 Brake Control

Important parameters:
Quick bus
(Fieldbus mode)
PCD[1].3
PCD[1].6
If the application is not equipped with an electrome-
chanical brake, these parameters are not relevant.
However, it is important to set parameter 19-09 Automatic
Brake Control to [0] Disabled to enable the motor also at
standstill.
Start procedure:
After start positioning is activated, the mechanical brake is
opened after the time selected in 19-11 Brake Delay. This
time delay is to ensure that the motor is fully magnetised
when the brake is released, preventing the load from
dropping after start.

Stop procedure:
At position reached the delay selected in 19-10 Coast Delay
ensures that the brake is closed when the controller coasts
the motor.
