Depress the brake pedal quickly and
with maximum force, even if it is already
pulsating. This enables the maximum
braking effect to be achieved.

WARNING
You should always adapt your driving style
to suit the prevailing road and weather
conditions and maintain a sufficient dis-
tance from other road users and objects on
the road.
If ABS is faulty, the wheels could lock when
braking. This limits the steerability of the
vehicle when braking and the braking dis-
tance may increase.

The vehicle is equipped with the Elec-
tronic Stability Program (esp

monitors driving stability and
traction, i.e. power transmission between
the tyres and the road surface.

may intervene in the following driv-
ing situations:
avoiding an obstacle that suddenly

when cornering at excessive speed

spinning of the drive wheels when pull-

ing away

intervenes, the ÷ warn-
ing lamp flashes in the instrument clus-
ter.

detects when a wheel spins or the
vehicle starts to skid.
Depending on the driving situation:

adjusts the speed of rotation of the

The hydraulic Brake Assist intervenes in
emergency braking situations. If you

firmly enough, the hydraulic Brake Assist
automatically boosts the braking force and

until the emergency braking situation is
