Screw tyre sealant bottle E onto flange

This pierces the aluminium film.

Remove the cap from the valve on the
faulty tyre.

Make sure that pressure release screw =
is closed.

Remove the plug from filler hose ?.

Screw the end of filler hose ? onto tyre
valve G.

Insert connector B into the 12 V socket

Make sure that the key is in position 1 in
the ignition lock.

The 12-volt battery discharges when the
tyre inflation compressor is used. For
this reason, you should start the engine
unless you are inflating the tyre in an
enclosed space.

Press switch C on the tyre inflation
compressor to position I.
The tyre inflation compressor is
switched on. The tyre is inflated.
i
First, tyre sealant is pumped into the
tyre. The pressure can briefly rise to
approximately 500 kPa (5 bar).
Do not switch off the tyre inflation com-
pressor during this phase.

Allow the tyre inflation compressor to
run for a maximum of ten minutes or until
a tyre pressure of at least 180 kPa (1.8 bar)
(maximum 250 kPa (2.5 bar)) has been ach-
ieved.
! Do not operate the air pump for longer
than ten minutes. Otherwise, there is a
danger of overheating.

If a pressure of 180 kPa (1.8 bar) cannot be
achieved, press switch C on the tyre
inflation compressor back to the 0 posi-
tion.
The tyre inflation compressor is
switched off.

Remove filler hose ? from tyre valve G.
X
Drive the vehicle carefully forwards or
backwards ten metres in order to dis-
tribute the tyre sealant in the tyre.
X
Screw the end of filler hose ? onto tyre
valve G again.
X
Pump up the tyre again.
