MVX1000 In-Car Digital Video System User Guide
To power on:
Step 1. Turn the vehicle ignition key to On position.
Step 2. Wait for the login screen to display on your mobile computer screen.
To power on from the MVX1000 Unit:
Step 1. Turn the vehicle ignition key to On position.
Step 2. Unlock and open the Solid-State Drive (SSD) Compartment Door.
Step 3. Push and hold the POWER Button inside the SSD compartment for at least two seconds.
Step 4. Wait for the login screen to display or until the

Turn the vehicle ignition key to Off position.
Standby Mode
When the vehicle engine is not running and the MVX1000 is not in use for a pre-defined time, the
MVX1000 automatically powers off all unneeded sections of the system for saving battery power
(including screen operation and LED indications). During Standby mode, on-going recording, start
recording and stop recording operations continue to function normally. When the MVX1000 is in Standby
mode for a long period (preset by configuration), the MVX1000 will power off to avoid draining the
vehicle battery.
The MVX1000 resumes to Power On state when:
