MVX1000 In-Car Digital Video System User Guide
The MVX1000 Unit may receive a total of four General Purpose Inputs (GPI) that may include:

lights bar signal, siren signal, vehicle brakes signal and crash sensor signal.
The MVX1000 Unit may also support four additional General Purpose Inputs or Outputs (GPIO).
