    QIP27xx User Guide DIGITAL VIDEO RECORDER (DVR) The QIP27xx is equipped with an internal hard drive for digital video recording of standard definition TV (SDTV) programs. Storage time depends on the video format of the received program. What is DVR? DVR, which stands for digital video recorder, records and plays digital video using hard-disk drive technology.
